Thirteen days of painting, exploring and photographing  in the beautiful Tuscany and Cinque Terre regions of Italy. Painters and non-painters welcome. Media will be oil, pastel and watercolor.  Previous workshop in 2012 described in this brochure. Tuscany brochure.

Teresa will emphasize the essence and beauty of watercolor. Develop radiant, luminous lights and rich darks for paintings that glow. Learn how strong values and dynamic value shapes create underlying design structure - the key to a successful painting.

This workshop will focus on the basics for creating dramatic, dynamic, timeless landscapes: value, composition and simplifying shapes into strong abstract design. Color relationships, edges, temperature of light will be discussed, as well as the application of value sketches and atmospheric perspective for stronger statements in your paintings.

Registration $330 by August 25; $370 after August 25.
